File Format.<\/strong> The manuscript is to be\u00a0submitted\u00a0in one file (.doc or .rtf format), which front page includes the following data: the author’s first and last name, institutional affiliation, mailing address, e-mail address, phone).<\/p>\n

Text Format.<\/strong> The font style\u00a0is Times New Roman,\u00a0with 12 points of font size\u00a0and\u00a0line spacing of\u00a01,5. Titles should be written in the same font. Language samples, etc., should be written in italics, quotations should be placed in quotation marks, for other highlighted text please use the text style of bold, when urgently needed only. No underlining. No indentations, instead using an empty line between paragraphs and standard margins (below and above 2,54 cm, right and left 3,17 cm)\u00a0are encouraged. Graphs, maps, pictures, etc.,\u00a0should be forwarded either on paper on a separate page, indicating the exact place on the separate line inside text or if applicable electronically as a\u00a0JPG-\u00a0or TIF-file. Please leave the whole layout and design for the technical layout person to handle.<\/p>\n

References.<\/strong> Authors are expected to use parenthetical references when referring to works of others, e.g. (Ariste 1981: 47\u201350). In the alphabetical list\u00a0of works cited at\u00a0the end of paper please include the most prescise information\u00a0possible on every reference entry,\u00a0including series, place of publication, number of\u00a0series, pages, etc.\u00a0Authors are asked \u00a0to present\u00a0the family and first name of a referred author and the year of publication in bold, and the title of the article\u00a0or\u00a0the\u00a0book in italics.\u00a0Please place the dash before the title of book or the periodical which is the reference from.<\/p>\n

The summary in Estonian and English, and key words.<\/strong> The summary of 200-300 words in an original language (Estonian, V\u00f5ru, Finnish or other Balto-Finnic language) and in English and up to 10 key words in English are asked to insert to the end of paper. The summary in English\u00a0 is expected to\u00a0have the title in English. When picking up key words we recommend the author to consult the general Estonian subject index (http:\/\/eum.nlib.ee\/).<\/p>\n

Length.<\/strong> The maximum length of paper should not exceed 4,000 words (ca 30,000 characters, no spaces), papers in the section of essays 2,000 words. Please contact the editor if the paper will be longer because of the content.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
